Usergroups

The user-groups feature of this forum site could be used to good effect once we get a good population of members. I could be used to designate what type of games members play, or a rank system, or team systems. And if members can be members of multiple user-groups at the same time, it could be a quite powerful tool for organizing the members. e.g. say you had a squad that played HC-TDM you could make a group for them. But there's another group that only plays S&D, so they get a group. But then the squad captains need more permissions, so they get a Captains group, and are members of both the captains group, AND their squad group. IDK how the coding for that feature is setup though so it might not work this way, but it would be cool if it did.

It works a little like that, but with preset permissions. Most of them aren't really situated for something like this, but if we get enough members and it becomes necessary to do such a feature, we'll see what we can pull out of our asses .

Cool, I just think that if MAD is moving in the direction of a gaming community, that it will give the various "Zones" a degree of autonomy, that could be attractive if we were to incorporate other clans, or even types of gamers I.E. MMO-RPG gamers or RTS gamers. I'm just not sure how big the vision is yet for MGZ.
